A member contacted the newsletter recently to inquire about translation services for non-native English speakers. The Bioelectromagnetics journal does not have a specific service for this, but does ask those who submit articles to the journal to have them reviewed by colleagues for appropriate use of language.
There are many services available online and otherwise for translation services, none of which are necessarily endorsed by The Bioelectromagnetics Society. However, in recognition of our international membership, we thought it might be useful to begin compiling a list of sources. Here is the start of that list:
Note that some of these sites charge a fee, and none guarantees acceptance of translated papers. However, using respected translation services can help one communicate scientific ideas more clearly to colleagues for their consideration.
