It is time to decide the location of BioEM 2014!
BioEM Conferences are the joint meetings of the Bioelectromagnetics Society (BEMS) and the European BioElectromagnetics Association (EBEA). Beginning in 2013, these joint meetings will be held every year in early summer.
These meetings aim to present and advance high quality research in basic and applied aspects of bioelectromagnetics in order to address health concerns, regulations and medical applications associated with EMF. A number of leading figures from the international research and medical communities are invited to each meeting to provide analyses of the results and issues emerging from research and practice.
BEMS and EBEA are currently calling for bids to host the Annual Scientific Meeting in 2014. Any member of one of the two Societies is eligible to propose a location or to express interest in hosting the meeting or serving as Chair of the local organizing committee.
Proposals from anywhere in the world will be considered and evaluated by a joint committee whose members will be selected by the board of BEMS and the council of EBEA. Applicants will be expected to submit a formal costed proposal by 9 November 2012. Guidelines for proposals have been prepared.
If you are interested, please reply to firstname.lastname@example.org and/or email@example.com before 21 October to receive more information, including the detailed proposal requirements.
