Dear Members of the Bioelectromagnetics Society,
This is to inform you that after a long term relationship the collaboration between The Bioelectromagnetics Society and Association Services International, Ms Gloria Parsley and staff, will end effective December 16, 2011. We would like to thank Ms Parsley for all the work she did for the Society and wish her all the best for her future.
In the next issue of the Newsletter I will provide a more detailed overview of the Society’s financial situation and obligations, as well as challenges and opportunities of a new management system for future operation. To establish a flexible and affordable system will be a main discussion at the Winter Board of Directors meetings in February, while until then the interregnum will be carried by personal commitment of several of the Society’s officers. As announced in my last Newsletter editorial, this does not affect the planning of the next annual meeting in Brisbane, for which a strong Local Organizing Committee supported by an Australian company is in place to run the meeting.
